The Dustopian Frequencies adventures in musical storytelling continue with Ghost Stories - four long form tracks by Megalithic Transport Network, The Holocene, BMH & Everyday Dust.

The artists were invited to choose a favourite ghost story to realise in music. The result is four different eldritch electronic works that serve to haunt the listeners ears with their strange sonic stories.

Megalithic Transport Network- The Manor.
Wingfield Manor in Derbyshire is one of the locations where Mary Queen Of Scots was living during her time under house arrest in the mid -16th century. Anthony Babington, a friend of Mary was said to have plotted to free her during her time there, but was
unsuccessful. There have been a number of accounts of sightings and strange sounds at The Manor, with the most common theories
suggesting that Mary and Anthony are walking the grounds together, doing in death what they could never do in life.

The Holocene - Chislehurst Caves.
The labyrinthine, man made caves in Chislehurst, Kent are over 8000 years old and filled with a myriad of stories of hauntings and the Halloween challenge The bones of a woman were discovered in the late 1930s in a natural pool in a chamber with no echo. Her apparition has since been seen rising from the pool and floating down the network of tunnels. Murdered by a jealous husband? Drowned as an accused witch? No one will ever truly know her story..

BMH - Shepton Mallet Prison.
A White Lady is said to haunt the wings of the prison with a heavily
perfumed scent, cold draughts and ghostly shadowy revealings. She
was due to be executed for murdering her husband and was found dead in her cell, lying in her wedding dress on the morning of her
hanging. She was reported to have died of a broken heart.

Everyday Dust - Dullahan.
In Irish mythology The Dullahan is an apparition that appears in the form of a headless horseman. He is said to have been a soldier in his previous life where he was beheaded in battle. The Dullahan now journeys from the afterlife searching for his missing head, and bitter about his own death will take other souls back with him. It is said if you see The Dullahan and he speaks your name you will die.
